Gensan Vice Mayor Bañas-Nograles reelected chairperson of the Vice Mayor's League of Region 12

General Santos City Vice Mayor Shirlyn Bañas-Nograles was elected for another 3 year term as Regional Chairman of the Vice Mayor’s League of the Philippines (VMLP) Region 12 in an election held at the Sangguniang Panglungsod of General Santos Session Hall last September 13, 2013.

The event was attended by the different Vice Mayors coming from the cities and municipalities within the Central Mindanao Region specifically from the provinces of Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and North Cotabato.

The new set of officers who will serve from 2013-2016 are as follows: Regional Chairman Hon. Shirlyn L. Bañas-Nograles- General Santos City; Regional Vice Chairman- Hon. Rodolfo Gantuangco- Kidapawan City; Regional Secretary-General- Hon. Jonalette De Pedro- Bagumbayan; Regional Treasurer- Hon. Vic Paul M. Salarda- Alabel; Regional Auditor- Hon. John Allan L. Villarin- Sto. Niño ;Regional PRO- Hon. Emelly G. Herezo-Delos Santos- Senator Ninoy Aquino.

The members of the Regional Board of Directors were also chosen and they are Hon. Vivien B. Yap – of Glan for Sarangani Province; Hon. Eliordo U. Ogena of Koronadal City for South Cotabato; Hon. Ramon Abalosof Lambayong for Sultan Kudarat; Hon. Albert Luis L. Garduque of Midsayap for North Cotabato; and Hon. Hadji Abdullah A. Andang of Cotabato City.
